Most Anticipated Chicago Bears Home Games
Other imminent worries that have bolstered the bear story have included the looming debt ceiling and budget battle, a new Fed Chairman, slowing corporate earnings growth and housing, escalating oil prices, near-record levels of margin debt, the full impact of Obamacare, and near-civil war in Egypt. And let’s not forget the Hindenburg Omen. But just when the market seemed to be putting it all aside and launching a bounce, Syria trotted out their chemical weapons of mass destruction, and the inevitable U.S. response has given the bears a powerful new story. Markets fear that a U.S. military strike on Syria’s leadership could lead to a retaliatory strike against Israel, which would then set off a whole cascade of events that could spiral out of control.
Bears give Marshall ‘planned’ 4 days off
“She just called me and was like, ‘Hey, MTV wants me to direct a segment and I want to use elements from the video. I want to do a giant bear and some dancing bears that I want you to do in your style. Are you interested?’ I was interested.” Being able to contribute to this year’s VMAs felt like “the stars aligned,” said the artist, especially since he was able to collaborate with Martel while his good friend KAWS(aka fellow pop-art-flavored contemporary artist Brian Donnelly) worked on redesigning MTV’s iconicMoonman. PHOTOS: MTV VMAs: Music’s Biggest Stars Hit the Red Carpet Since Martel hit up James about the project less than a month before the VMAs were set to take place, he created a few sketches of a giant teddy bear with digital goggles and the “twerking” bears strapped to Cyrus’ background dancers. Once Cyrus and Martel gave the go-ahead, he went to work. Despite the small amount of time available to prep for the big night, James worked with fabricators at Brooklyn-based Eleventh Street Workshop to help bring his designs to life. While the construction of the bears was based in New York, James worked via e-mail with theL.A.-based Martel to find the right fabric on the West Coast. Cyrus also offered her two cents. “Miley gave her input to Diane, and I would get these notes via e-mail,” said James. “She sent me a picture of her doing the tongue thing that the bear has as its expression.
With their new home ticket price in mind, lets take a look at the Bears top three home games for 2013 and compare prices: Top 3 Games (10/10) vs. New York Giants | Avg: $486 | Get-in: $155 Eli Manning and the G-Men march into Chicago for the Bears most expensive home game of the year. The Giants pose a significant threat, but its an early season meeting and one the Bears should have a good chance at winning. To do so, Chicagos revamped offensive line will have to keep New Yorks elite pass-rush at bay. All things considered, Chicago fans are getting a bit of a deal here, as this much-anticipated battle is just 12% pricier than the home average ticket. (12/9) vs. Dallas Cowboys | Avg: $458 | Get-in: $158 This matchup has Tony Romo and the Cowboys potent offense coming into town, with a potential shootout on display.
“I let him go for something that has been in part of the offseason plan since we started training camp.” Marshall admitted to the Tribune the timing was interesting, coming on the heels of his comments. “This is not about just resting my hip,” he said. “There are some things I need to take care of. I sat down with (general manager) Phil Emery and Coach Trestman in camp and we picked out a day that’s best for me. Unfortunately, it has followed my trip followed my comments.” Marshall added: “My hip is not recovered, not the way I need it recovered.” And about Tuesday’s comments? “What’s the big deal? I was frustrated.” A Fox Sports report intimated Marshall was seeking alternative treatment for his hip. When former middle linebacker Brian Urlacher missed nearly a week of training camp last summer, the team said he was excused for personal reasons. Urlacher had traveled to California for alternative treatment on his knee. Asked if the move was related to Marshall’s hip, on which he had arthroscopic surgery in January, Trestman sidestepped the issue.
Bears work out receiver Jarred Fayson
He has since spent time on the practice squads of the Indianapolis Colts and New England Patriots . He was signed to a reserve/futures contract by the Saints this past January but was waived by the team on Aug. 19. He had just one catch for four yards in two preseason games with New Orleans. Fayson has never been active for an NFL game, so it’s unlikely the Bears are looking at him as anything more than a practice squad player. It’s highly doubtful this workout has anything to do with the news yesterday that the club is trying to trade receiver Earl Bennett . Bears vs. Browns preseason 2013: Fantasy football draft preview
He and Jay Cutler are almost always on the same page and B-Marsh has been in the top three for targets in his last three seasons with the QB. Even with the concern, he still shouldn’t go past 20 in drafts. Will the Jordan Cameron hype train keep rolling? Few players have went from unknowns to jumping up into the top 100 quite like Cameron has. Let’s take a look at a graph of his ADP from fantasyfootballcalculator.com : Obviously, his two-TD game in Week 2 caused a massive spike. Fantasy owners can be myopic and have a “what have you done for me lately” feel, but that’s not the case here. Norval Turner has done too much for his tight ends in his career as a playcaller, so Cameron is next in line.
